ABOUT
Kat J. Weiss is a freelance illustrator & designer born & raised in Hong Kong, now based in Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany.
Working mainly as an editorial illustrator, she specialises in people, plants and food, often depicted in a ‘busy’, flat and playful style, with an emphasis on detailed line work. Spot illustrations and a sense of page design are also part of her repertoire.
An overarching mission behind all of her works is to highlight diversity, sustainability and the coming together of different cultures.
She works in an analogue to digital process.
Education: Savannah College of Art and Design, BFA in Illustration and minor in Graphic Design (2014)
Member of PULPXIX e.V. art community (Trier) since 2022.
Member of the Illustratoren Organisation e.V. since 2020.
